Day 01 : Delhi
Arrival in New Delhi. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
After breakfast sightseeing tour of New Delhi, visiting India Gate, Qutab
Minar & Humayun's tomb, and driving past President House. Evening is at
leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi - Ahmedabad - Wild Ass Sanctuary
Early morning transfer to airport to connect flight for Ahmedabad. On
arrival drive towards Dasada (approx 100 Kms. / 2 ½ hrs.). Drive in the
Little Rann of Kutch at the Wild Ass Sanctuary to see the Asiatic Wild Ass
and other faunal attractions. Overnight stay in a wildlife resort.
Day 04 : Little Rann of Kutch
Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy a full day visit to the Little Rann of Kutch for
bird watching & nature viewing. Overnight stay in a wildlife resort.
Day 05 : Little Rann of Kutch - Gondal
Drive from Dasada to Gondal (approx 210-kms.) via Wadhwan, Surender Nagar,
Chotila. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at a heritage hotel.
Day 06 : Gondal - Gir National Park
After breakfast drive to Sasangir (85-kms / 2 hrs.). Gir National Park is
the last refuge of the Asiatic Lion. On arrival transfer to hotel. After
lunch, take a jeep drive into the National Park. The national park supports
a great diversity of mammals including Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Chinkara,
Four-horned Antelope and Wild Boar. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 : Gir National Park
Morning and evening tours to Gir National Park. The Gir Forest is, most
famed for its Lions and our focus will be to find as many as possible during
twice daily excursions into their habitat. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 08 : Gir National Park
Morning and evening tours to Gir National Park. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Gir National Park - Rajkot - Mumbai
Early morning drive to Rajkot (4-hrs.). Transfer to Airport to connect
flight to Mumbai. Arrival at Mumbai in the afternoon. On arrival transfer to
hotel. Evening is at leisure. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 10 : Mumbai - Hubli / Belgaum - Dandeli Wildlife
Sanctuary
Transfer to airport to connect a flight for Hubli or Belgaum in the morning
and transfer to Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. On arrival transfer to hotel.
Later take a drive to the sanctuary for wildlife viewing. Overnight in a
wildlife resort or Kali Wilderness Camp.
Day 11 : Dandeli Wildlife
Sanctuary
Enjoy a morning elephant ride for wildlife viewing and afternoon raft
cruise for bird watching.
Day 12 : Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary - Goa
Early morning nature walk. After breakfast drive to Goa (4 hrs.). On
arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight in a beach resort.
Day 13 to 16 : Goa
Spend some days at leisure at the beach resort of Goa and sightseeing the
Goan beach sides.
Day 17 : Goa - Mumbai / Onward Destination
After breakfast transfer to airport to connect flight to Mumbai in the
morning. Arrive Mumbai in the afternoon. Onward journey.
